I'll let you speculate. Maybe Cole did type something to cause Jan to be cold. Or maybe it's just cold and the first panel has no purpose other than to show the cool glowing letters on the keys.

In real life, I am very suseptible to the cold. It could be summer and a slight breeze could make me cold. The combination of low fat ratio, being used to warm weather and wearing thin clothes will kill me when I actually go to Washington.
